As Incluzia Inc.’s CEO, Marnie is an occupational therapist, educator and accessible housing technical expert bolstered by more than 20 years of clinical experience working with older adults and people with disabilities in their home environments. As an accessible housing advocate, she collaborates with a variety of stakeholders to create more accessible and affordable housing options for Canadians.
Marnie and her team create innovative technology, education and consultation to optimize health and wellness outcomes and to address the accessible housing crisis in Canada.
Marnie is the recipient of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists’ 2024 Innovative Practice Award, and the winner of AGE-WELL’s 2024 Age-tech National Impact Challenge for her new web-based applications MyHomeFX (public) and MyHomeFX Pro (Professional), digital health assessment and home evaluation tools. She sits on the technical committee for ASC/CSA’s B-652 Accessible Dwellings Standard, is a board member for the Universal Design Network of Canada, and is a Research and Development committee co-chair for Accelerating Accessibility Coalition.
